In the framework of the #TetovoInterfaithYouthWeek, yesterday our activist Ms. Clirime Saiti with the support of her mentor Merita Saiti kicked off the activities of their project, part of the “Youth Combating Hate Speech” funded and supported by the German Embassy in North Macedonia.
Students from different faiths and ethnicities started off their interfaith journey with a multi faith breakfast where they had the chance to hear from theologists about the role of interfaith dialogue in building tolerance and combating hate speech. The activities continued with the second activity, the interfaith trail, where the participants were able to visit different places of worship, meet with the clergy and exchange information on faith practices in the city. A special thanks to Medreseja Isa Beu in Tetovo and Tetova high school “Nikolla Shtejn” for their support and collaboration in the implementation of our activities.
