The Europe Liberty Forum 2023: A Journey of Inspiration, Ideas, and Connections

LAI representatives recently had the privilege of participating in the Europe Liberty Forum 2023, organized by the Atlas Network, in the beautiful city of Prague. This gathering brought together liberal enthusiasts from around Europe and beyond, offering a platform for invigorating discussions, networking opportunities, and the chance to foster new connections and friendships.

A notable highlight of our experience was LAI’s participation in the Think Tank Shark Tank competition, where we proudly stood as one of the three finalists representing Europe. This esteemed event provided us with the opportunity to present our innovative ideas and initiatives, demonstrating the impact we strive to make within the liberty movement. Being among the finalists was an incredible honor, enabling us to share our vision with a broader audience and garner valuable feedback.

Furthermore, Avni Arifi from LAI had the privilege of participating in the Fundraising 360 workshop, a highly informative session organized by the Atlas Network. This workshop proved to be an invaluable opportunity for our organization, as it allowed us to enhance our fundraising capabilities. Fundraising is a crucial component of our growth strategy, and this workshop provided us with practical tools, insights, and guidance to strengthen our efforts in securing the necessary resources to further our mission.

Another highlight of the Europe Liberty Forum was the chance to meet in person two distinguished authors, Tawni Hunt Ferrarini and Joseph P. Calhoun. They are the authors of Common Sense Economics, a guiding book for our Economic Literacy Program. Meeting these influential figures was an extraordinary experience, as their work has been instrumental in shaping our program and empowering individuals with a comprehensive understanding of economic principles.

LAI would like to express its deep appreciation to Randall Filer, Eleanor Hammond, and Kateryna Kyrychenko from the Economic Fundamentals Initiative for their continuous support throughout our journey. Their guidance and unwavering assistance have played a significant role in our growth and success. We extend our heartfelt thanks for their partnership and collaborative efforts in advancing our shared mission of promoting economic literacy and fostering an environment of freedom.

The Europe Liberty Forum in Prague was a remarkable journey that left us inspired, motivated, and eager to further our advocacy for liberal principles. The conference offered engaging talks, shared visions, and ample opportunities to make new connections and friendships. We returned from this experience equipped with newfound knowledge, strengthened relationships, and a renewed commitment to our cause.

As we conclude this exhilarating chapter, LAI remains steadfast in its dedication to advocating for liberal values, promoting economic literacy, and contributing to a society grounded in individual liberty. We express our gratitude to the Europe Liberty Forum organizers, the Atlas Network, and all those who contributed to making this event a resounding success. Until we meet again at future gatherings, let us continue working together towards a freer and more prosperous world.
