The overarching goal of the Teacher Training Program project is to build capacity for the teaching and learning of economics in secondary schools, serving as a pathfinder for other countries looking to raise national standards of economic and financial literacy.
As country partner in this two-year pilot, LAI will play an integral role in securing proof of concept for the current co-funder whose second year of grant funding is contingent on the success of this first year.
The country partner will also be expected to seek local funding support as this will offer important leverage for EFI’s drive to secure new donors.
