Zoom Webinars and physical events: BRAVE!

Online Webinars Brave, tackled the issues of bullying, cyberbullying, hate speech and hate crimes through online workshops, a human library informal meeting, and research presented through infographics. 

The first topic “Cyber Bullying and Hate speech online: legal framework and mechanisms” was presented by the guest speaker Arta Selmani, Pro-dean of the Faculty of Law at Southeast European University. The webinar was held in Albanian language. 

The second of the BRAVE Webinars continued with the same topic “Cyber Bullying and hate speech online: legal framework and mechanisms” was held in Macedonian language. The guest speaker was Ivan Sterjoski, Legal Consultant and Human Rights Education Trainer.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The third topic was “Gender Based Bullying and Hate Speech” held in Albanian language. The guest speaker was Ardit Ramadani journalist and founding member of Mollekuqja. The webinar was held in Albanian language.

The fourth, and last, of the BRAVE Webinars continued with the topic “Gender Based Bullying and Hate Speech” held in Macedonian language. Our guest speaker was Mersiha Smailovic, human rights activist and president of Legis MK.

 

 

The final event of the Bravo Project was  the #CoffeTalks on the topic: “The impact of hate speech and bullying on young people ”. The informal discussion had as guests Arta Selmani (ProDean of Law Faculty, SEEU), Merita Saiti (Political Scientist and civic activist),  Arta Abdullau (Psychologist and Manager of Dekas Center) and Azra Tairi (university student and artist). The event was moderated by Aziz Sulejmani .
