Economics Olympiad registrations are open!

📢 It is with great excitement that we announce the launch of our Economic Literacy Program, featuring the Economics Olympiad, in North Macedonia this year. We are honored to be partnering with two esteemed organizations, Economic Fundamentals Initiative and INEV, in this endeavor to promote economic understanding and engagement among students.

🥇 The Economics Olympiad is a captivating and interactive way for students to not only learn about economics but also to test and expand their knowledge through competition and challenges. By participating in this program, students will have the opportunity to develop a stronger understanding of economic principles and how they impact the world around them.

🚗 We are starting our journey by meeting with high school principals in Tetovo. Tetovo will be our home base as we begin to implement the program and build relationships with local educators. Our next step is to take the program to 6 other cities across the country: Kumanovo, Skopje, Gostivar, Kicevo, Debar and Struga. Our goal is to reach as many students as possible, and we are eager to expand the program to more cities in the future.

✨️ We believe that this program has the potential to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students in North Macedonia and we are thrilled to be working alongside Economic Fundamentals Initiative and INEV to bring it to fruition. We look forward to seeing the positive results of this program and encouraging more students to engage with economics in a fun and exciting way.

🚦 The registration for the EO is open as of today (link: https://lp.econfun.org/olympiad-in-north-macedonia) and educators are welcome to register their school which is the first step allowing students of that school to participate. This year the EO in NM will be in Albanian and English as the book that we will be using as a basis is available in those languages, all the while pushing for the book to be translated into Macedonian soon and thus be able to cover all eight regions of the country with the next year’s EO.
